Merrily We Swim Along

The next day we decided to lay low and have a pool day. By this time I'm sure that our family was starting to be in alignment with the whole "Houseguests are like fish. .they both start to stink after 3 days" theory. Poor Kat and Eric were so generous to be willing to tolerate us for so long.


We woke up in the morning and slipped on some swimsuits to enjoy some Floridian sun. Brooklyn LOVES to swim and was so excited to hop into the pool. She and Whitney had a great time splishing and splashing around. The sun was fabulous and was so relaxing. It was nice to have a day to relax and do very little.

Kat and Eric had a wedding to go to, so Matt, Brooklyn, and I scampered off to grab some pizza and make a Walmart run. Afterwards we headed back to Kat and Eric's to hang out with Bailey (their dog) and watch some tv. It was nice to have some downtime with nothing on the agenda. Relaxing!

It was a perfect day, aside from an unfortunate incident where Brooklyn fell through the shower curtain, bringing the whole rod down with her. . .but I'll save you from the details of that incident. I'm not sure that Kat and I can even think about that incident without nearly peeing our pants in laughter.
