A Monday Recap

After a weekend which included some time with some of my beloved gal pals, I was hopeful that this week would be easy on me.  Brooklyn and I did not catch on sleep as hoped . . .she was up at 6:50 / 7:15ish both days. . . but spent some fun time together regardless.

Today was another pretty great day for Brooklyn.  She was early for the bus and was looking cute.  Her friend, A, was looking very tired at the bus stop. .but G looked like he was ready to conquer the world.  Apparently I was wrong because tonight at dinner Brooklyn said "On the bus, unfortunately, G* fell asleep".  It made me giggle.

We got our first homework tonight, which requires Miss Brooklyn to wear clothes of a certain color and bring an object of the corresponding color each day for the following week.  Tomorrow's color is red. . .so she's bringing a red jelly bean and a red St*rburst (she couldn't decide which one) and will wear her red "Cutie" shirt.  Bring on the red.

Forgive her less than nutritious meal.  She decided that she didn't want homemade sushi tonight.

A quick update on Baby #2 :   I have started to feel a lot of kicks and movement in the past week.  Some days I feel way more than others and today has been a particularly active day for the ltitle one.  Not sure if it was the Cran-Grape juice I had for breakfast, or if (s)he was just recovering from a lazy Sunday with a lot of activity.  We have about 4 weeks until our big ultrasound . . and I think we're all assuming it'll be another girl.  Time will tell.
