The Perfectly Pinkalicious Birthday Party

Brooklyn turned five last week.  FIVE. . .can you believe it?  Wasn't it just yesterday that my sweet little princess was just a newborn?  Wow - time flies so quickly.  I couldn't be more proud to call this little girl mine.  We truly live a blessed life . . . amazing.

When we were deciding what to do for a birthday party Brooklyn  had a few ideas but narrowed it down to Fancy Nancy or Pinkalicious.  My good friend, Kat, also recommended Pinkalicious. . . so I took it as meant to be and moved forward.  It seemed appropriate for my sweet little book reader.

We did our best to make everything pink from head to toe.  My sister, Auntie Ashley, volunteered to make the cake and cupcakes . . and they were totally in line with the theme.  I'm pretty sure she was in cupcake craziness. ..but they were so pretty and just like the ones in the book!

Brook hasn't been feeling 100% for the past week, so when Matt took her to take her pictures he was a little disappointed.  My only disappointment was that her AWESOME shoes aren't in this picture!

You can almost see them in this one. . .but not quite

 Cupcakes galore!

 So pretty

I don't have a good shot of the candy table, so I'm hoping someone else does.  I really was proud of how it came together.

Here's a shot of the pavillion before the party - sort of hard to see everything

We had tiaras, wands, and crowns for the kids to decorate - they really seemed to enjoy it.

Brooklyn's friends sang Happy Birthday to her and before she blew out her candles she said "Thank You".  It was just so darn cute - I love her manners.

Love Brooklyn and Miss C in this pic!  Such pure happiness!

Precious goofy friends!

The party reminded me that we have some of the most amazing friends and family ever imaginable.  I can simply not imagine how we ended up so blessed with these friends who truly would go anywhere or do anything to help us out . . and family that would do the same.  Truly, truly blessed.
