Diva-licious

Today had been planned all around Brooklyn's Sibling Class at the hospital.  I scheduled an oil change at 8:00 AM to be sure it was done in time for the 10:00 class. . . Matt skipped the Iowa game . . .Brooklyn sent her "regrets" for a birthday party. . . and I scheduled dinner with a friend rather than considering lunch or brunch.  I woke up early (an alarm on the weekend is for the birds) and got ready for the oil change. .headed over to the dealership. . and mid appointment my phone rang telling me that the class had to be cancelled because the teacher was sick.  Bummer.

Brooklyn and I decided to take a trip to the library while Matt got his haircut.  Brooklyn was looking particularly divalicious for the library trip. . . her Auntie would be proud.  Afterwards we paid Walmart a visit (gag) and then headed to a local eatery for some lunch.

I'm heading out for dinner tonight with one of my friends who I adore, but we simply don't get to see eachother enough.  It will be nice to get a little "me" time and commiserate over 5 year old antics stories (Nicole has a 5 year old who is about 3 months older than Brooklyn).  The kiddos are two-peas-in-a-pod, so it's always a bit of a relief to discuss our high-energy little sweetie pies.

Who Me?

Couldn't Be.
