Easton Report : 36 Week Appointment

I had my 36 week appointment this morning at the doctor's office.  It was the week for the lovely Group B test (yick) and the first week that they checked me for progress. 

So far Mister Easton is "very low", I am about 2 cms dilated, and still a little thick but very soft.  Okay, so I know that is a little too much detail for most. . but I know that some mommies will care.  So, there ya' go.  It's my understanding that with second babies it's normal for a body to dilate before they efface - while with first babies the mom usually effaces before dilation.

My next appointment is a week from Monday. . so we'll see what kind of progress (or lack thereof) has been made.
