Update on Mister Easton

Today was had our final planned ultrasound.  IT started out very well. . . Dr. L gave us a look at the heart and said it looked beautiful.  He continued measuring along as he walked through the baby and I noticed him measuring and remeasuring something round (head? abdomen?)  Finally he said "Was Brooklyn a big baby?"  Oh joy. .here we go.  I looked at the screen and it was measuring at 35 weeks 3 days.  I said "Should that worry me?"  Apparently the general consensus is that while Easton appears 100% healthy, active, and happy. . he willl, most probably, be a "big baby".  Oh boy . . this mama is a little nervous!

Brooklyn aws 8 lbs 6 ozs. . . not a small baby, but not huge.  I was a 9 lb 5 oz baby.  Let's just all hope that Easton is not bigger than I was. :)  Little prayer for this mama, please? :)

Regardless of how big or small he is, what we love most is that he's healthy. . and we saw his precious little face that makes me 100% melt.  Love him SO SO much . . and his big sister is over the moon in love with him also.  So excited to meet him.

Usually I cannot tell what things are in an ultrasound . . especially 2D, but I hope you might be able to see the face here.  The arrow points at the bottom of his chin and his lips, nose, and eye socket are all to the right of that.  As you can tell I'm not even great at describing ultrasounds :)
