First Day Home with Both Kids

Not a lot to report today.  Brooklyn didn't have school this morning, so I kept her home from daycare to spend some time with both my babies.  We took a road trip to Target and the mall.  I had a gift card to Build a Bear and had promised Brooklyn that she could go get another Build a Bear.

I was incredibly impressed with Brooklyn's behavior while we were out.  I would be lying if I said I wasn't surprised.  She was calm, helpful, and polite the whole time.  Brooklyn is almost always very well behaved, but today she was hyper aware of her behavior and listening skills and she made my life very easy.  Thank goodness. . I needed that!  She chose a kitty stuffed animal and was delighted with her choice.

After the mall we picked up some lunch and headed back home for an afternoon of watching movies and cuddles.  Brooklyn wanted her picture taken with her new kitty. . .and I had to take some snapshots of Easton's many faces.  Little baby dream smiles make me giggle.

Brooklyn affectionately named her Build a Bear "Kitty". . .original, right?  She said she wanted to give it a name so that she could use it as either a boy or a girl.  Whatever floats your boat baby girl.

Easton's face fest. . .

And. . .a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out to my mom!  Love you. . . hope your day was great!!!
