Easton and I made memories of chilaxing and relaxing. . . .
And after Matt got home to hang out with Baby E, Brooklyn and I headed to Steak n Shake for a Mommy and Daughter "Date" (Although Brooklyn has insisted that I not call it a date. . because "that makes her think about marriage. .and we aren't going to get married to eachother". . oh, the strange thoughts of a 5 year old). So. . . we went on a "Girls Day".
Following dinner Brooklyn and I headed over to Target to get her the next two books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, some valentines, and a birthday gift for her cousin. It was a nice trip and we shared some giggles along the way. Brooklyn's mind is always going. . always thinking. . and it cracks me up the types of questions that she asks.
(forgive the hair. . .I found it hard to care what her hair looked like after the chef's hat at Steak n Shake)
I've said it a million times, but it's worth repeating. . I love and adore my kiddos more than life itself. . they are some pretty rockin' little people. . . whether they are sleeping or talking my ear off. . every moment I spend with them is a huge blessing . . far beyond what I deserve.
