Before you comment and try to accuse me of missing science courses in high school, I do realize that the gender of the baby is not determined by the egg. However, I am a firm believer that something about the . . ahem. . . "environment" that a woman offers does help influence the gender.
This past weekend Matt and I went to Iowa to introduce my grandpa (and my dad, but I'll post about that separately b/c the pics are on Matt's camera) to his only great-grandson. Here's hoping that some day he will have another grandson to share the "boy stuff" with Easton. .but until then, Easton will enjoy being the first little boy in a long line of little girls.
Here is a picture of my grandpa meeting Easton:
Great Bompa Meeting Brooklyn about 5 1/2 years ago (she was a little older than Easton in this pic):
Another pic of Easton and Great Bompa:
And of course, even 5 1/2 years later. .the princess still reigns:
Brooklyn was my lucky girl who had the blessing of meeting all of her great-grandparents on my side of the family. Unfortunately my paternal grandfather, paternal grandmother, and maternal grandmother have all passed away since then. But, I still feel blessed to have Easton meet my precious grandfather!
