Easton's First Day at "School"

Yesterday was Easton's first day of daycare . . . and unfortunately also the first day back to work after Springing Ahead.  Sleepy people all around.

The day started earlier than normal at our house and I managed to wake up the diva easier than I had feared.  She joined Matt in our room so he could put on her school clothes and I woke up Mister Easton.  Brooklyn was so excited, repeating over and over "Today is Bubba's first day at school!" (she sometimes calls Easton "Bubba". . .which I think is adorable).

I took Brooklyn to the bus stop while Matt dropped Easton off at daycare.  Drop off went well, Easton was sound asleep by the time he arrived there.  Normally if the babies are asleep when they arrive they leave them in their infant car seats until they wake up. . unfortunately Easton seems to think his car seat is his own private oasis and ended up sleeping until nearly 10:00 AM.  The rest of the day he did great. . he didn't eat quite as much as he typically does at home, but I speculate that there were a lot of distractions.  The four hour nap led to us having a slightly rough night last night. . . but we're hoping that today he will spread out the naps a little so we can get some better solid sleep tonight.
